The new Sony DSR-45 DVCAMTM digital videocassette recorder is half rack sized for easy integration into existing linear and non-linear editing systems. This unit offers i.LINK, RS-232C, RS-422A, and Control S remote control interfaces. The i.LINK interface enables the transfer of DVCAM's superior image and sound quality without the conversion to analog. RS-422A allows for the DSR-45 to be used as a feeder in low cost editing systems. Analog component and XLR audio outputs are available.
